AIMA UGAT is conducted by the all-India management association. It is an entrance test to get admission to undergraduate courses such as BBS, BCA, BHM, BCom, and IMBA. There are various management colleges that accept the scores for AIMA UGAT for admissions. Here are all the details you need to know about the AIMA UGAT:

AIMA UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) in India. It serves as a gateway for students seeking admission into various undergraduate programs such as Integrated MBA, BBA, BCA, BHM, etc. The UGAT exam assesses the candidates’ aptitude in areas like English language, numerical and data analysis, reasoning, and general knowledge. It is a computer-based test and is typically conducted in the month of May. The scores obtained in the UGAT exam are accepted by numerous participating institutes across the country for admission purposes, making it a crucial examination for aspiring undergraduate students.

AIMA UGAT 2023 Important Dates

The application process has started. Students can register themselves by visiting the official website. The other important dates related to the AIMA UGAT are given below:

Time Schedule

It is advised that students reach at least half an hour before the commencement of the exam. Here is the time schedule for the AIMA UGAT below:

Timing for Paper-based test

  • Approx 09.00 AM – 11.00 AM (For IMBA, BBA, BCA, etc.)
  • Approx 09.00 AM – 12.00 Noon (For BHM)

Timing for the Internet-based test

 Morning Session

  • Approx 09.00 AM – 11.00 AM (For IMBA, BBA, BCA, etc.)
  • Approx 09.00 AM – 12.00 Noon (For BHM)

Evening Session

  • Approx 03.00 PM – 05.00 PM (For IMBA, BBA, BCA, etc.)
  • Approx 03.00 PM – 06.00 PM (For BHM)

Application Process

  • Visit the official website and click on the registration link.
  • Fill out the application form and upload all the mandatory documents.
  • Submit the application fees of Rs. 750 and then submit the completed form. You can also submit the application fee through a Demand Draft of Rs. 750 in favour of All India Management Association payable in Delhi.
  • Submit the application form.
  • Get two copies of the application form for future reference.

Documents Required

The documents that the candidates will need while applying for the exam are given below in the list so that you do not forget something important during the application process:

  • Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) or Net Banking details
  •  Demand Draft in Favour of ‘All India Management Association
  •   Scanned photograph (up to 50 kb)
  • Scanned signature ( up to 50 kb)
  • Valid Email Id and password

AIMA UGAT Eligibility 

Before applying for the AIMA UGAT students should always check the eligibility criteria. Here is the eligibility to be fulfilled by every applicant:

  • The candidate should have passed the 10 + 2 (12th class) or equivalent from a recognized board
  • The students giving their 12th examination of the year can also apply for the exam
  • There is no upper limit on the age criteria but the candidate must be at least 17 years of age
  • There is no relaxation for any students under any circumstances

Admit card

The admit card for the AIMA UGAT for the paper-based exam will be released before the exam. The admit card or the exam hall ticket is very important when giving any exam. It has all the important details like roll number, name, paper codes, etc. which you will need to fill in your answer sheet. Without the admit card no one is allowed inside the examination center. Here are the steps to download the AIMA UGAT admit card:

  • You can download it from the official website 
  • Login in with your registered email id and password
  • Click on the admit card tab and it will be displayed on your screen
  • Take two printouts. Keep the admit card safe after downloading, it is important no candidate is allowed to enter without admit card

AIMA UGAT Test Centers

Students can select up to 3 test centres at the time of AIMA UGAT registration. There are several cities where test centres are available for the AIMA UGAT. Here is the list of few test centres:

Result, Cut Off and Counseling

The result is declared online and probably announced after a few weeks from the date of the AIMA UGAT examination. Students can check their results on the official website. You can log in with your registered email id and password to get the scorecard. Those who have passed will be given the scorecard which will have all the information about their percentage, qualifying status regarding the counselling round and dates, etc. Those who have passed will have their name on the cut-off merit list released on the official website. Only qualifying students are invited to the counselling round.
