Average Fees & Accommodation

Every university offering BTech in UK has a different fee structure. The average fees for a B.Eng degree in the UK range from  £19,000 to £28,000 (INR 191918- 282827) as tuition. The monthly cost of living spans anywhere between £1100 to £1400 (₹1,11,454 – ₹1,41,851) depending on your choice of place and other factors. Make sure to set aside at least £11000 to £15000 (₹11,14,548 – ₹15,19,838) as part of your yearly living costs. If your college provides on-campus accommodation. The average on-campus accommodation is between £400-£600 (halls of residence, may or may not include bills), while private accommodation costs about  £320- £530 (INR 32323- 53535) per month. Application Process

Just like every other undergraduate program in the United Kingdom, the application process for B.Eng is via the UCAS website. Here is the application process for BTech in UK:

  1. Application form – To enrol you have to fill an application form online at Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
  2. Add Details – You will be asked to fill in all your details along with the content of the states where you have to tell your enthusiasm towards the course, demonstrating motivation, the skills and experiences that you will apply to succeed at the university course,
  3. Register – After filling up the form submit your application and you will receive a username, create a password and set your security questions.
  4. Sign in – Sign in with the username and password and complete the remaining form. 
  5. Application Fee Payment – Pay the application fee. The application fee is based on the number of choices/ options given for programs.

General Eligibility Criteria

  • Typical International Baccalaureate requirements: 35 points.
  • Typical A-levels requirements: AAB i.e 80% in XII in 4 best subjects excluding language and other supplementary courses that will not be considered, should include mathematics and physics.
  • Typical IELTS requirements: 7.0 overall, with no lower than 6.5 in any one component.
