CBS 2022 PhD Scholarship

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) invites applications for one vacant PhD scholarship within the fields of Information Systems and Human-Computer Interaction.  Core research areas of the Department of Digitalization (DIGI) are Information Systems and Human-Computer Interaction. It is the ambition of the Department to create a context where researchers can accomplish their potential in a supportive and conductive environment with a set of common values, aspirations and directions. Teaching responsibilities of the Department comprise undergraduate and graduate teaching in Information Systems and Human-Computer Interaction.  This position is linked to the SIOT project which is funded by the DIRECT and CBS, focusing on the Security of Internet of Things. This is an interdisciplinary project initiated by researchers from Aarhus University, Aalborg University, Alexandra Institute, Copenhagen Business School, and Technical University of Denmark, as well as industrial partners from both private and public sectors. The project’s full title is: “SIOT – Secure Internet of Things – risk analysis in design and operation”. The SIOT project propose to use algorithms from automata theory and game theory to automate risk analysis and security strategy synthesis. The implementation of the security policies will consider both technical as well as social aspects, in particular usability in organizations and training of people.  The CBS team will focus on 1) studying the adequacy and usability of current risk analysis and design tools for target organization, 2) improving the user interface design and assess effectiveness of the IoT security toolkits from a human-centered perspective, 3) designing, implementing, and certifying the IoT security?related training program based on the developed tools or systems, and 4) proposing guidelines/code?of?conduct regarding IoT security for organizational stakeholders.
