The US exchange program aims to encourage the full development of emerging and influential leaders by giving them the chance to build everlasting relationships and networks. In order to address some key factors in the growth and progress of any society, the cultural exchange program in the US is of paramount importance. These key factors include women and gender equality, participatory government, sustainable development, youth engagement, and resilience. 

The Community Exchange Program was launched by the US Government and is being supported by IREX. The American Council of Learned Societies established IREX in 1968, and ever since it has been at the forefront of scholarly exchanges.

Eligibility Criteria:

• In order to apply, applicants must be citizens of one of the above-mentioned countries.
• All applicants must reside and work in their home countries.
• The applicant must be between the ages of 21 and 28 at the time of application.
• The applicant must have two years of professional or volunteer experience.
