Federal University Lafia, (FULafia) Resumption Date for the Commencement of First (1st) Semester Academic Activities for 2021/2022 Academic Session [Disclaimer Notice].A recent publication, online, titled: "FULafia Resumption Date 2022," claims that the Management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has announced Monday, June 13th, 2022, as the resumption date for newly admitted students with lectures set to start on the same day. The publication, also, claims that the University has proposed a date for resumption of returning students and advised both sets of students to "check their 2021/2022 resumption date here" (in the publication).In view of the misinformation and lies contained in the online publication which have built doubts and created confusion within the minds of parents and students regarding the dates of resumption of school, the Management of FULafia wishes to state that dates have not been set or proposed for resumption of students and academic activities.In fact, the University does not contemplate a unilateral announcement of dates for resumption of students while other universities remain closed because of the ongoing national strike embarked on by the ASUU, SSANU, NASU and NAT.Parents and students are, therefore, strongly advised to ignore the fabricated, misleading and dubious online statement announcing the dates for the reopening of school and academic activities in FULafia.Whenever dates are fixed for resumption of students and academic activities, the Management of FULafia would make the dates known to the public through the verified media channels of the University.SignedAbubakar IbrahimHead, Information and Public Relations Unit RECOMMENDED: FULafia Academic Calendar Schedule [UPDATED].
