MBA in McGill University is a full-time MBA program that lets the students choose whether they want to pursue it for 1 year or 2 years. They offer a choice between 48-credit and 54-credit programs. But, the difference in credits depends on the time you spend in the internship, not the classroom. The 48-credit program can be completed in 12 months. Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree: Candidates applying must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
  • The minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is 3.0 out of a possible 4.0, or a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.2 out of 4.0
  • 2 years minimum work experience
    A minimum of two years of relevant full-time work experience after completion of their undergraduate degree.
  • 2 letters of reference
    Candidates must provide two professional LORs. McGill will automatically contact your employers to upload references using this recommendation form on your behalf.
  • Official transcripts
    Two official transcripts of marks from all universities attended are required. Transcripts in languages other than English must be accompanied by an English translation. A copy in the original language is also required.
  • Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
    All applicants must complete the GMAT exam or the GRE exam. There are no exemptions to this rule. When registering for the test please ensure that you request the results be sent directly to McGill University.
  • English Proficiency TestTOEFL or IELTS 
    For international candidates who did not complete a degree from a recognized English-medium university, proof of English proficiency is required.

    IELTS- A score of at least 7.0.

The admission process for MBA in McGill University is online. Here is the stepwise breakdown of the entire process:

Application Form

  • Log on to the McGill Online Application Form and create an account if you are a new user and you will receive an email including your username and a password to log in and start the application process.
  • Once logged in, click on ‘my profile’ and fill out the required information that includes; contact information, education, citizenship, etc. 
  • Click on either the ‘Start New Application’ link or the “Continue” button. This will take you to the Home Page where you have to fill out your preferred program type, term, area of study, referees, etc.
  • Read the Declaration and Authorization sections and click on both checkboxes- click on the “Continue” button.
  • Click on the “Review” button to review the details completed before proceeding to payment. Once the application has been submitted, no changes can be made.
  • Enter credit card information under Payment Details. Click the “Process Transaction” button to pay the application fee of INR 7,300.

  • All the documents must be uploaded directly to uApply, as a PDF document. After your initial application has been submitted, you will receive access to your uApply account via email.
