Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship 2021
The Higher Education Authority (HEA) issues the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship. The government of Ireland offers around 60 scholarships to meritorious students for a period of 1 year to study at the graduate, postgraduate, or PhD levels in Irish higher education institutions.
- Deadline: Friday 26 March 2021.
- Apply: the GOI-IES application portal
- Benefits: €10,000 (INR 8,70,000) stipend for 1 year of study and fully funded tuition and other registration costs at a higher education institution.

Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship
Most of the students move to foreign universities for master’s degrees. To help provide financial assistance, the government of Ireland postgraduate scholarship was launched. This scholarship is funded by the Department of Education and Skills, for international students to pursue their Research MS and PhD. The Walsh Fellowship
Under the Walsh Fellowship, around 35 scholarships are awarded to students working on research projects majorly in fields of food, crops, agriculture, and rural development. The fellowship is named after the late Dr.Tom Walsh’s contribution to agriculture and food research in Ireland. Applications from individual graduate students are not accepted and the Programme does not fund non-research postgraduate programs.
