Holland Scholarship

Holland scholarship is the first scholarship in our list of scholarships in Netherlands. it is provided to international students outside the European Economic Area in order to help them pursue their bachelors or masters in the Netherlands. The scholarship program is granted by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. However, the scholarship doesn’t cover full tuition fees and only grants € 5,000 (INR 4,50,145) during your first year.

In order to be eligible for this scholarship you need to have a non-EEA nationality and you must be applying to a full time program at one of the participating Dutch institutions.

Orange Knowledge Programme

The Orange Knowledge Programme is a scholarship programme which holds importance in our list of scholarships in Netherlands. It is popular amongst the many scholarships in Netherlands. It is aimed at contributing to the society’s sustainable and inclusive development. It works towards developing the knowledge  and quality of both individuals as well as organisations both in the field of higher and vocational education and in other fields related to the priority themes in the programme countries. The whole programme is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Nuffic. The scholarships are open to all the mid-career professionals in specific countries and covers the costs of living and costs such as tuition fees, visa, travel, insurance etc.

Radboud University Scholarship Programme

The next scholarship in our list of scholarships in Netherlands is the Radboud University Scholarship. It provides financial assistance to a group of selected students to pursue a complete English taught Master’s degree programme at Radboud University Nijmegen. The scholarship program provides financial assistance in the form of a partial tuition fees waiver and also covers the costs of visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance.

University of Maastricht High Potential Scholarships

The University of Maastricht High Potential Scholarships is yet another important scholarship in our list of scholarships in Netherlands. The scholarship program offers scholarships to a bunch of 24 talented students every year of  €29.000 (INR 26,11,479) which includes the tuition fees along with the monthly stipend. The scholarship covers living expenses, health and liability insurance, visa application costs, tuition fees and pre-academic training costs. 

All those students who have applied for a masters programme at Maastricht University and are non-EU citizens are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Utrecht University Excellence Scholarships 

The Utrecht University Excellence Scholarships aim to provide financial assistance to highly talented students in order to help them pursue a degree at Utrecht University. However, the competition for this programme is really high due to its highly selective nature.the scholarship amount ranges between 5,000-17,000 euros (INR 4,50,145 – INR 15,30,915). In order to be eligible for this scholarship, the candidate must be a non-EU citizen and must have been admitted to the bachelor’s programme in Economics and Business Economics, Politics and Economics, Global Sustainability Science or to University College Utrecht.

TU Delft Excellence Scholarships

The Delft University aims to attract the brightest students in the world into their classrooms and thus, provides a lot of excellence scholarships in Netherlands  for international students. The Justus & Louise van Effen scholarship is one of the most popular excellence scholarships offered by the university. This programme aims to provide financial assistance to international students wishing to pursue MSc from the Delft university. The scholarship program covers full tuition fees and a monthly allowance for living expenses.

Leiden University Excellence Scholarships

The university offers scholarships to students from outside the EEA in order to pursue a full-time masters program from the Leiden University. The scholarship usually provides €10,000 (INR 9,00,320) of the tuition fee, €15,000 (INR 13,50,370) of the tuition fee, or total tuition fee minus the home fee.

All the non-EEA citizens with excellent academic record in the previous examinations are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Erik Bleumink Scholarships at University of Groningen

The Erik Bleumink Fund Scholarships are awarded to talented students wishing to pursue a masters degree program of 1-2 years. The scholarship covers tuition fee, costs of international travel, subsistence, books, and health insurance.

In  order to be eligible for this scholarship, the candidate must have an excellent academic performance in the previous examinations and must have obtained a conditional admission to the program of choice

University of Twente Scholarships

This scholarship program provides financial assistance to students from all nationalities wishing to pursue MSc from the University of Twente. The scholarship program provides the students with € 6,000 – € 25,000 (INR 5,40,110 – INR 22,51,050) every year as financial assistance for pursuing their studies.
