Why I Shunned NYSC’s Invitation To Collect My Discharge Certificate – Ex-NYSC Member Beaten By Female Soldier

A former corps member, Ezeiruaku Ifeyinwa Fidelis, who was beaten by a female commissioned army officer, has given reasons why she had not yet received her discharge certificate from the authorities of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). According to Nation reports, Ifeyinwa said that she has been battling acute trauma since the incident, which she said continues to hurt her daily life. The upset Lagos University alumnus added that the trauma had a great impact on her and she found it difficult to fall asleep. “At times I remember it in my sleep and I wake up. When this
