The youth across Canada will be taking part in the online sessions and sharing their experiences with each other. Further, they will learn about the current pressing issues of the globe and seek their solutions through the prism of sustainable development goals. This eight-week paid internship program is a full-fledged professional training program that will help build your professional expertise through different work activities under the mentorship of prime subject experts. The interns will be working with their related organizations according to the responsibilities of their domains.

The paid online internship program are assigned to related institutes to help young brains according to their subject of interest. The Communications intern will be engaging the public in Nepal through different social media campaigns with the help of their designing, marketing, and communication skills by focusing on food security and health-related programs. The communications and technology interns will support development activities in Cambodia by focusing on environmental educational awareness among the target public. The textile facilitator interns will be working by concentrating on the development of women and girls through human rights and ecological perspectives. The health promotion and communications interns will support women’s access to education and health in Kenya.

The paid summer internship program for youth is a virtual program that has broken the traveling barriers by introducing easy home-based access for professional training. Eligibility Criteria of the ACIC Youth Internship 2022:

• You should be between the age of 18 and 35.
• You should be an indigenous person/citizen/permanent resident of Canada.
• You should have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• You should be available full-time virtually for 8 weeks of the program.
• You should not be a graduate of degree program from a university.
