Eligibility Criteria:

The ETH Zurich Postdoctoral Fellowship 2023 in Switzerland, will base on the following eligibility criteria:

  • The candidates must have completed their doctoral degree at an educational institution other than the University of Zurich or ETH Zurich.
  • Candidates for the Ph.D. degree who have not yet defended their thesis are required to provide a certificate, signed by the advisor or department chair.
  • In the period of three years before the application deadline, applicants shouldn’t have spent twelve months or more living, working, or studying in Switzerland.
  • In the previous three years, candidates must not have spent over six months carrying out their primary employment or study at ETH Zurich or the College of Zurich.
  • A minimum of one academic article in a publication with peer review is required of applicants.
  • Applicants who are eligible but do not fulfill these
