Flinders University 2023 The Andrew Thyne Reid Scholarship (Psychology and Social Work)

The Andrew Thyne Reid Scholarship has been established to encourage high-achieving pre-service Psychology and Social students to complete professional experience placements (PEPs) in rural and remote locations. Wellbeing and mental health of rural and remote communities is critical and placements in these communities is important to providing students skills and knowledge to assist these communities. It is recognised that students completing placements in rural or remote areas can encounter significant expenses. This program will reduce the financial burden of PEPs and enable students to develop their skills and enjoy the experience of living in a rural or remote community.
